The Claims Conference Ombudswoman, Ayelet Metzger, and her staff are responsible for investigating inquiries received from members of the public served by the Claims Conference worldwide.
We receive and address inquiries and complaints pertaining to the various programs administered by the Claims Conference, and assist in reviewing particular cases in which claimants seek clarification, or may have a concern or grievance about a claim or application filed with the organization.
We are committed to resolving and settling issues and concerns that arise, and we strive to do so by open communication and in an informal manner where possible. We are also available to assist and work with individuals regarding applications to the Claims Conference or who are seeking aid from programs it funds. We contribute to Claims Conference efforts to ensure the best possible service to victims of Nazi persecution.
