Specific Guidelines for Educational Material & Curriculum Projects
1. Priority in funding the development of educational materials and curriculum is given for the following:
- Materials that include teachers guides and other user support
- Materials that include personal inspirational stories - (e.g. Jewish heroes in the Holocaust, Jews who helped their fellow Jews, Righteous Gentiles)
- Translation of important existing materials into other languages
- Materials geared toward specific target populations such as Russian-speakers in the FSU, Israel and other countries and Sephardic Jewish communities.
2. Generally, educational materials developed partly with funding from the Claims Conference should be available on the internet. This requirement will be applied on a case-by-case basis taking into account, for each grant, copyright issues, effectiveness of such publication and the financial implications.
3. Funding for traveling exhibitions should include support for accompanying educational material.
